Andrea Stefanini

Siena, IT

I am a Consultant Cardiologist and Research Fellow at the University Hospital of Siena, Italy, with a Master’s degree in “Cardiac Intensive Care” from the University of Padua.

Heart failure has been my primary area of interest and passion since the beginning of my career in cardiology. I have progressively developed expertise in its management, working at the University Hospital of Siena, a regional Center for Advanced Heart Failure and Heart Transplantation. I have also trained at the San Camillo Forlanini Hospital in Rome and in the Cardiac Surgery Intensive Care Unit in Padua, both leading national centers in the field

I have attended several specialized Heart Failure courses and delivered presentations at International Congresses, including the “2024 and 2025 ESC Heart Failure Congress”, in Lisbon and Belgrade. I have also contributed to the writing of scientific articles in this field and I serve as Principal Investigator or Sub-Investigator in international, multicenter clinical trials, including studies on cardiogenic shock.
