Elisabeth Boulos obtained her medical degree from the Mount Sinai School of Medicine and subsequently trained in internal medicine at Yale School of Medicine – Yale New Haven Hospital. She completed fellowship in pulmonary and critical care medicine at the University of Pittsburgh, where her research projects spanned pulmonary fibrosis and acute lung injury. After fellowship, she worked as a clinician educator in academic ICUs and was an Assistant Professor of Medicine at New York University prior to joining the Division of Pulmonology, Allergy, and Critical Care at FDA as a Medical Officer. She was promoted to Clinical Team Leader in 2023 and manages a broad range of programs, including ARDS, sepsis, and many rare lung diseases.
