Elizabeth Munroe, M.D., M.Sc., is an Assistant Professor in Pulmonary/Critical Care at Intermountain Medical Center in Salt Lake City. She completed medical school and residency at University of Chicago and fellowship at University of Michigan. Her research focuses on optimizing the use of fluids and vasopressors in early sepsis resuscitation, with a particular interest in peripheral vasopressors and personalized fluid resuscitation. She is currently supported by a K23 career development award and is leading a pragmatic clinical trial of stroke volume-guided fluid resuscitation for patients with in-hospital sepsis.
